Before I was a salon owner…
I was a 10-year-old girl colouring my mum’s hair wearing gloves far too big for my tiny hands.
My mum worked full-time and ran a household full-time. She didn’t have hours to sit in a salon chair.
So she’d mix her colour, instruct me and I’d apply it. Later, she’d rinse it out in the shower.
